Blackhouse Lodge is made up of a traditional 5-bedroom main house and a stunning 13m air-conditioned glass atrium, a unique space to enjoy stunning views of the valley and the night sky in any weather. The house has a large kitchen/dining room, cozy sitting room, a formal dining room, a commercial/prep kitchen, guest toilet and utility room. All bedrooms are en-suite, there is a master bedroom with a king size bed, and all other rooms can be configured as one king-size or two single beds - just let us know what you need. Around the property we have a large private garden with hillside forest walks, a fire pit, BBQ hut, streams, a pond, a small lake, and amazing views up and down the valley and surrounding hills.

You will have exclusive use of the house and grounds. The tracks leading past the house provide shared access to commercial forestry areas and may be used by forestry plant from time to time.

Our property manager lives a few miles away and is reachable at any time.

The house is accessed via a 4-mile forestry track from the main road. It is not suitable for vehicles such as sports cars with a low ground clearance.
